Baycrest Farms Home Rates
Effective April 1, 2011
Home Rates:
FULL TRAINING & CARE: $975.00 per month
• This includes training and instruction for both horse and rider with three lessons per week and trainer rides.
• Horses will be fully tacked and un-tacked for the rider.
• Bathing, trimming, turnouts, blanketing, wrapping, general supplies, weekly laundry*
• General doctoring including veterinary instructions and administration of medications
• Administration of extra feed and supplements*
* Blanket and Day Sheet launder and repairs to be billed separately
* Extra feed (i.e. pellets, Natural Glo, grain), supplements and medications will be billed at cost or
purchased by customer
NON TRAINING CUSTOMER:
• Lessons/Trainer Ride * $75.00 per session
• Lesson Package of 10 (That’s 10 for the price of 9) $675.00
*Lessons/Rides must be cancelled at least 12 hours in advance in order to receive credit
LAY UP CARE: $650.00 per month
• This program is offered for the injured/ill horse that needs intensive daily care such as twice a day or more medicating or other services. The program encompasses turnouts, hand walking and grooming service Monday through Sunday as per veterinary instructions. Our staff will also medicate (does not include cost of medication), manage wound care and consult with the veterinarian.
BODY CLIPPING:
• Paid directly to groom
Lease or Half-Lease:
• When available and prices vary. Feel free to ask us for more information
Sales and Purchases:
TRAINER FEE:
• Non Local $100.00 per day
50% will be credited to the commission at the time of purchase
• Local facilities (30 minutes or less) $50.00 per day
• Travel Costs – customers are responsible for all travel costs
• Commissions: Sales, Purchases or Leases* 10% per transaction
*Including Month to Month leases
Other Fees:
Customer Advance: Baycrest pays any outstanding bills 10% of the bill
Returned Check Fee $25.00
Finance Charge (accounts over 30 days past due) 1 1/2 % per month
